How to Sell Product Bundles through Claimbase

This past week, we released an exciting new feature, that was requested by multiple Claimbase merchants in the past: Being able to sell product bundles through Claimbase.

In this article, you will learn how to create a product bundle in your Shopify Store, and how to make it available through Claimbase.

How to create a product bundle in Shopify

You might never have created a product bundle in Shopify before. That's likely because creating product bundles is not a functionality, that comes out of the box with your default Shopify Admin.

Instead, you'll have to download a bundles app in the Shopify app store. We like Shopify's own and free Shopify Bundles app: apps.shopify.com/shopify-bundles

Install it in your Shopify admin.

Then, create your first product bundle, by clicking "create bundle" in the top right corner:

Pick a title for your product bundle and choose, which items should be included and in which quantity:

Hit "Save and continue". After that, you'll be guided to a page, that looks very similar to your standard product details page. That's why bundles are treated a lot like normal products in Shopify. E.g., they appear in your products overview just like every other product.

For the bundle to be claimable through Claimbase, scroll down to the "Inventory" section of the bundles's details page and give it a unique SKU, e.g. "bundle1".

The SKU is what your customers comment on your Instagram page together with the word "claim", to trigger a claim for the bundle. E.g. "claim bundle1"

Don't forget to set the bundle to "Active" and enable it for the sales channel Claimbase in the "publishing" section on the right side of the page:

After that, if you created a new bundle, go to the settings page within your Claimbase app and hit "Sync products".

Making the product bundle available to claim through Claimbase

If you followed the steps above, your new bundle is visible in the products table in your Claimbase app and claimable through Claimbase like every other product as well:

As with all claims through Claimbase, they work for your Instagram live video comments, story replies, feed comments, as well as your DMs.
